Automate 2005 set to reach great heights

Automate, Australia's leading hi-tech manufacturing exhibition for the automation and process industries, will be staged at the Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park from 13-15 September 2005.

The venue, which has been rated the venue of choice in extensive surveys to existing and potential visitors as well as exhibitors, is located in Australia's fastest growing industrial catchment area in the heart of Sydney's manufacturing hub.

The Sydney Showground is also easily accessible to many major manufacturing centres in New South Wales allowing easier access for more key decision makers who are keen to discover the latest manufacturing technology including robotics and automation, instrumentation and process control, computers in manufacturing, test and measurement, hydraulics and pneumatics.

Automate is co-located with Austronics, the electronics industry exhibition and Electrix, the electrical industry exhibition giving key buyers, specifiers and decision makers access to three major industry shows in the one visit.

The event is supported by a number of major industry associations including:

  • IICA (Institute of Instrumentation, Control & Automation Australia)
  • AEEMA (Australian Electrical & Electronic Manufacturers' Association)
  • SMCBA (Surface Mount & Circuit Board Association)

Automate 2005 will incorporate:

  • ICEX, a dedicated exhibition for companies in the process control and instrumentation field which features all aspects of analysers/analytical equipment, automation equipment, control systems and software, data acquisition equipment/loggers, drives, fieldbus, instrumentation, PLCs, plant monitoring systems, process control systems, test equipment.
