KASK ZENITH X safety helmet lands in Australia and New Zealand

After the successful launch in Europe, U.S.A. and Canada, KASK, the Italian premium designer and manufacturer of head protection, introduces the new AS/NZS Approved ZENITH X series safety helmet to the Australian and New Zealand markets. The ZENITH X series is the result of KASK’s continuing challenge to rethink what is possible in safety helmets: the result is multi-patented design innovation that delivers an exponentially enhanced wearer experience, enabling workers to work more confidently, comfortably and productively.

The ZENITH X represents an evolution in safety helmets. While it may look similar to its award-winning predecessors on the outside, every aspect of the helmet is updated. Advancements are focused on three main areas where KASK excels: exceeding global safety standards, enhancing all day worker comfort and integrating user design benefits.

Safety is enhanced with implementation of an outer shell material that decreases the helmet weight while increasing its protective abilities — even at lower temperatures. Inner shell energy-absorbing components are totally reimagined as well. The inner shell is comprised of two separated patented elements: a lightweight core, called D-Core Technology, and higher density outer cage, called HD Crown Protection — these provide greater all-around impact absorption while maintaining internal airflow.

Exceptional wearer comfort is guaranteed thanks to a patented, ratcheting mechanism — the Adaptive Fit System. The system provides a personalized fit for a wider range of head sizes and shapes, ensuring an all-day comfort. The system also features two new adjustment points and a large radial over-moulded dial that allow the wearers to make tailored fit adjustments even easier.

“For too long comfort and safety were seen as two competing objectives with safety helmets. And while we have improved the safety of the helmet dramatically, the hallmark of the helmet is the way the Adaptive Fit System works with the internal shell components to enhance the helmet fit and comfort,” said Marta Beltramello, KASK Safety, Sales and Marketing Director. “We believe this leads to better worker confidence and performance, now also in Australia and New Zealand with the AS/NSZ 1801 certification.”

As with all KASK helmets, the ZENITH X features a number of additional design elements that enhance the wearer experience. An internal liner system has even greater moisture wicking capabilities and can be easily removed or replaced via a patented Click-In system. Additionally, ZENITH X is designed to accept proven safety accessory components from previous ZENITH helmets, allowing ease of upgrade without investing in new accessories or training.

“With the ZENITH X, KASK showcases its holistic approach to the product development and its design philosophy” said Diego Zambon, KASK General Manager. “In this way, we are implementing technological innovations that will lead us to introduce increasingly cutting-edge products in the future.”

The ZENITH X series is also available with a closed shell for electrical risk applications and vented for non-electric shock application and in a wide range of fade resistance hi-visibility and standard colours. A full option of proven safety accessories is available such as hearing, eye and face protections, headlamps and weather protection.

The ZENITH X range is already compliant with the European safety standard for industrial helmets EN 397 and EN 50365.
