Partnership forged by IT industry leaders

The Information Technology Professionals Association (ITPA) has joined forces with WF Media's longstanding IT media channel Technology Decisions, aiming to promote and grow the IT sector in Australia.

The alliance kicks off on 1 August and will see Technology Decisions (one of 12 specialist B2B media brands under the WF Media umbrella) producing a new fortnightly newsletter for the nearly 19,000 ITPA members.

A new ITPA ‘zone’ will also be added to www.TechnologyDecisions.com.au and will house all the newsletter content and promote ITPA membership benefits.

The WF Media team will also work with the ITPA board to launch a new series of breakfast seminar events across the country, commencing in October this year.

ITPA is focused on continual learning, which will form a focal point of the alliance. The Technology Decisions team will help market and promote ITPA endorsed courses and events — not only to members but to the broader IT sector.

“This partnership opens up new opportunities to promote ITPA membership benefits and to access a broader audience, not to mention providing us with a more robust, responsive eNewsletter platform, driven by experts in the IT media field,” said ITPA President Robert Hudson.

“We are excited to be working with the fastest growing IT industry association in Australia and look forward to building a solid media and events platform with Robert and his committed ITPA board,” said Geoff Hird, Publisher and Managing Director at WF Media.

ITPA members will receive the first release of their new eNewsletter, The Download, the first week of August and will further benefit from access to a depth of business technology content and resources on www.TechnologyDecisions.com.au.
