Information release about worker who was crushed while using a mobile elevated work platform
NSW Trade & Investment Mine Safety has published an Investigation Information Release into the death of a worker who was crushed while using a mobile elevated work platform at Boggabri on 21 May 2014.
The construction worker was using the mobile elevated work platform within a steel structure when his head was crushed between the protective rail of the platform work basket and an overhead steel beam about 14 m above ground level.
Investigations into the incident are continuing.
