Free webinars on new work health and safety laws
WorkCover NSW is holding a number of free webinars this month as part of its program to support NSW business, industry and workers adjust to new work health and safety laws.
The webinars will cover the topics of electrical safety, construction, plant and structures, and hazardous chemicals. The General Manager of WorkCover’s Work Health and Safety Division, John Watson, said the webinars provide an opportunity for employers and workers to ask questions and seek clarification on how the new laws affect their workplace.
“As part of our comprehensive program to help NSW business, industry and workers adjust to the changes, we are holding a series of webinars on different aspects of the new laws,” said Watson.
“Anyone with an internet connection can participate and receive interactive work health and safety advice in real time. Places are limited, so go online and register today.”
