Extension for Regulatory Impact Statements
The Council of Australian Governments, National Licensing Taskforce has extended the closing date for consultation on Regulatory Impact Statements (RIS) for all occupational areas including electrical.
The consultation RIS will now remain open until 5 pm AEDT Friday, 12 October 2012. The revised closing date will allow those attending NOLS information sessions to consider and finalise their submissions before the RIS closes.
Public information sessions on National Occupational Licensing will be held in each capital city, conducted by the COAG National Occupational Licensing Taskforce. The Brisbane information session is due to take place on 20-21 September.
The Brisbane sessions will be broadcast live and can be accessed from the website. Online participants will also be able to ask the panel questions during the sessions. A recording of the sessions will be made available shortly after the event for those unable to join the live information sessions.
