A Safety Audit by Forktalk is an inspection carried out on-site by experienced and WorkCover accredited personnel to assist with compliance with the OHS Act 2000 and OHS Regulation 2001. It is also carried out with a view to making the workplace safer, more efficient and more productive.

Forktalk staff (just one or two people) come to the site and inspect and discuss all aspects of the workplace. This includes offices, factories, car parks and any other relevant space occupied by a business. Employees are asked for input on issues relating directly to them where they have 'hands-on' experience. People at all levels can offer relevant comments on various issues and situations. All input is taken into consideration for the report. When the report is complete, a time is arranged for a debriefing of senior staff regarding the results of the audit and to review the report in detail.

Assistance is available to follow up the implementation of the items reported on and any other issues.
