The Smart Park parking distance control system is an essential option on any vehicle to help prevent children being injured in driveways and other busy areas such as shopping centres and school zones.

It works using ultrasonic sensors mounted to the rear of the bumper. The sensors monitor the distance between a driver's car and any object in the car's path while reversing, including moving objects like children and family pets.

Hidden internal speakers use increasing volume and changes in tone the closer the driver gets to an object, letting the driver know the exact distance and alerting the driver to stop.

The Smart Park sensors protect the entire area behind the vehicle including 20 cm wider than the vehicle. Smart Park will alert the driver to any obstacle from a metal pole to a milk crate.
