Electrical safety switch tester

The TES 1900 digital RCD tester is compact self contained test unit designed to quickly and accurately test all types of RCD's ( Safety Switches) for the correct trip level and most importantly the trip time. It can test RCD's with ratings of 10mA, 20mA, 30mA, 100mA, 300mA, and 500mA.

This small portable unit incorporates a mains wiring checker and displays the all important trip time of the RCD in mS ( Milli seconds .001 sec)

Designed to be used by electrical personnel installing or testing installations where RCD's are used and the tester needs to comply with the Australian Standards such as AS3760:2003 .

This unit is very easy to use, simply plug into a power point. The inbuilt mains Checker will identify any wiring problems , the RCD is then checked for trip level and the trip time is displayed on screen in milli seconds accurate to 1% and displays the trip time down to 0.1 ms. This includes 0 and 180 degree checks.

This low cost unit comes with all necessary leads, instructions, and case with a convenient neck strap.
