The CM-1B carbon monoxide meter and alarm system is an all electronic system using a microprocessor (micro compressor) to measure the quantity of carbon monoxide (C0) and calculate the danger level, which is a combination of C0 and TIME (tome) of exposure.
A three digit lighted display shows the current level of C0 between 0 and 250 ppm. It continuously monitors the air, and updates the display every 2 min. The microprocessor analyses the data and compares it to the 10% haemoglobin concentration, which is stored in the computer memory.
