Chemical safety understanding low

A report just released in the US reveals that while the number of safety incidents relating to chemicals is falling, it is still one of the most dangerous industrial areas.
The study by Texas A&M university staff revealed that less than half the people living in the US were aware of chemical plants in their neighbourhoods. Dr Sam Mannan, one of the report authors, said, "We can tell you to the decimal point how good or bad the stockmarket is doing but we can't tell you that for chemical safety."
