The Speedglas 9100 MP air welding and safety helmet features auto-darkening welding lens and a large visor (100 x 170 mm) that allows the welder to benefit from a clear vertical and lateral field of view with continuous respiratory protection when not welding.
A flip-up mechanism reveals a high-impact protective visor that is suitable for grinding and low light conditions. The Adflo Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) or the V-500E Supplied Air Regulator (SAR) integrates with the helmet to provide respiratory protection that is compliant with Australian and New Zealand standards.
The 9100XX lens, with shades 3/5/8/9-13, allows the welder to weld, cut, grind and tack. When the lens is combined with the company’s peripheral SideWindows, it provides what is said to be the largest viewing area when compared to other auto-darkening welding helmets currently available in the Australian market.
The company has teamed up with 3M’s Peltor hearing protection brand - the Peltor earmuffs attach to the product to give the welder hearing protection compliant with Australian and New Zealand standards.
