The Simoco SRP9100 portable radio is designed for the professional user who requires good performance and reliability combined with simplicity of operation and functionality.

The series is based on the same platform as the SRM9000 mobile radio and uses DSP technology for filtering, signalling, speech processing and modulation. Its architecture allows a path for future functionality or application-specific upgrades.

It has: full compatibility with SRM9000 radios; multimode capability - PMR, TMR, P25 conventional and P25 trunked; five frequency bands (66-520 MHz); capacity of 1000 channels (PMR), 1024 channels (TMR) and 64 zones of up to 250 channels (P25); 2400/1200 baud FFSK data modem; CTCSS, DCS and DTMF signalling; FFSK or Selcall ANI; DSP speech processing; simple voice scrambler; voting and scanning; text message capability; high-endurance 3000 mAh battery; MPT1343 and ANN compatible; fully customised menu system; GPS/mandown speaker microphone; remote speaker microphone; programmable function buttons; enhanced Selcall for lone worker, stun and emergency alarm.
