Protective clothing for welders

The Weld Guard range of protective welding gear has expanded to keep welders protected from head to toe. The 2009 range has a wide selection of protective clothing necessary for all kinds of welding applications, including fire-retardant ‘Egyptian cotton’ jackets.

The range includes welders’ jackets (available in leather and fire-retardant cotton in a choice of heavy or lightweight fabric); leather boleros; premium-quality gloves; welding snoods, caps and hoods (available in leather and fire-retardant cotton); leather welders’ trousers, aprons, sleeves, spats and leggings in multiple lengths; foam knee-pads; and fire-retardant cotton boot covers and welders’ bibs.

All fire-retardant items meet European standards for Welder Use (EN470-1), Radiant Heat C1 (EN366), Flame Resistance (EN532), Molten Metal Splash (iron) E2 (EN373) and Convective Heat B2 (EN367).
