Oliver Footwear has introduced two sports styles to its King’s safety footwear range. Both styles comply with the relevant Australian standard AS/NZS 2210.3 and international standards. The 15-411 style is a low-cut sports shoe with a lightweight upper, constructed of suede leather and fabric. The 15-421 style is an ankle-high sports boot that uses the same lightweight and breathable upper materials.
Common to both lace-up styles is a dual-density, antistatic polyurethane sole, designed to sweep away liquids in slippery or damp job site conditions. Resistant to most oils, acids and alkali and temperature resistant up to 130°C, the sole combines a shock-absorbing, low-density midsole, for comfort, with a hardwearing outer sole, to withstand tough job or work site conditions.
Both styles have a Type 1 protective high carbon steel toecap in a scientifically shaped wider profile for greater comfort and to ensure there is no contact between toes and the toecap. They also have a distinctive grey, reflective, high-visibility strip along the side of each shoe for improved safety in work site conditions such as warehousing and distribution. Sizes range from size 5 to 13 with half size increments from 6½ to 10½.
