Narva Geomax LED strobe range
Narva’s range of heavy-duty Geomax LED strobes are suitable for harsh applications and conditions in a range of industries, including mining, construction, contracting and agriculture. The strobe lights have Class 1 (Part no. 85250A) and Class 2 (Part no. 85252A) approved rotating patterns, which provide high levels of brightness as required by Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) standards. The lights also reach Class 1 and 2 respectively for their single flash pattern. The strobes have four flash patterns — quint flash, ultra-flash, single flash and steady on. Multiple units can also be synchronised to maintain a uniform flash pattern on the vehicle(s) that they are fitted to. The lights include ambient light sensors for day/night switching and high or low power mode override.
The lights feature a die-cast aluminium base and polycarbonate lens, allowing them to withstand heavy bumps and knocks, while providing a compact design that makes them suitable for fitment to a range of vehicles and equipment. The lights are reverse polarity and transient current protected, and meet IP67 and IP69K ratings for water and dust ingress, meaning the lights can be cleaned with a pressure washer and steam cleaned. The strobes have also been tested to three vibration standards including: IEC 60068-2-64 and IEC 60068-2-80, alongside the military vibration standard MIL-STD-801G.514.6. The strobes have been tested in environmental labs, with the trials including almost 1.2 million switches cycles and running the strobes constantly for three months.
