The Marcom Watson remote weather station provides real-time weather information from remote sites - important information for the safety of workers in remote locations or where adverse weather can present a risk to workers.
The information is displayed on a 15″ touch screen with live video images. A single station can view multiple sites.
A single sensor with no moving parts provides current wind speed and direction, current temperature and wind chill, and current barometric pressure. A built-in IP camera, able to be viewed in the touch screen, shows live real-time images and supports full remote desktop so that any authorised TCP/IP connection is able to view the information.
Information such as 5-day forecasts can also be displayed if internet access is made available to the system.
Full integration with two-way radio systems enables speech and other information to be broadcast on a time basis or on request from field radio.
With an extensive history in both two-way communications and automation systems, the company is able to provide customised solutions for clients’ unique requirements.
