Kinyun Australia safe headlamp and cordless caplamp series

The Kinyun intrinsically safe headlamp series and the cordless caplamp series are both IECEx certified for safe use in hazardous environments such as petrochemical, rescue and firefighting applications, and meet the mining industry IP67 cap-lamp standard.

The products are equipped with an LED light, lithium rechargeable battery and various accessories, depending on models. The accessories enable them to be worn on any hard cap or directly worn on the head. They can be worn on the belt, clamped on an object, magnetically attached to a metal object or simply held in the hand.

The series comprises two groups: helmet-lamp for petrochemical applications certified in Ex ia IIC T3 and the miner’s caplamp for underground coal mine applications certified in Ex ia I.

Each group has 12 models, including general, external charging, lightweight, floodlight, side-worn, rear beacon, traffic control, rescue, multiple-pattern beacon and other variations suitable for different applications.

Particular models enable close-up illumination for repairing, long-light projection for outdoor illumination, 20 h long-operation or short-period rescue operations, spot-in-focused-light, wide-beam-in-floodlight; illumination only; signalling only or illumination plus signalling.

A safety feature is that, unlike normal head lamps, the helmet lamp is an individual unit attachable to a cap strap, rather than fixed on it, enabling it be used as a small separate personal light.

The waterproof caplamp is supplied with a certified mains charger, with other charging facilities such as vehicle chargers and charging banks also available.
