The Firecom wireless headset and base station is a communication tool for emergency service personnel.
With no wires or plugs, the headset is user friendly, portable and durable. Offering clear communication, first responders are now able to connect to the in-cab intercom and vehicle radios with critical on-scene communication using the wireless headset.
The headset operates on an interference-free band. The headsets and base stations incorporate antenna-spatial diversity for a robust RF link. The technology has been utilised in other industries for years but had not been applied to the fire industry until recently.
A typical fire scene range is 93-155 m, depending on where the base station is installed on a fire or emergency apparatus.
