Wearer comfort problems can arise when manufacturers do not apply 'long-term wicking' treatments that tend to wash out easily and in some cases, the fabric is not treated at all. This can result in workers who are reluctant to wear polyester hi-viz garments.

The XAX Gloaire Polo work shirt has been designed for workers who can't work in polyester and synthetic work shirts. The 100% cotton polo work shirt provides natural cool comfort and conforms to Australian and New Zealand Standards.

The polos are available in both long- and short-sleeve styles in orange/navy and yellow/navy hi-viz colour combinations.

They feature plastic press-stud buttons; double-button flap chest pockets; a pen compartment; and spectacle hang loops for safety or prescription glasses. Gloaire designs are manufactured from 185 gsm 100% cotton knitted hi-viz fabric that complies with ASNZ 1906.4 and ASNZ 4399 Ultra Violet Protection Rating UPF50+ protection. The garment design complies with Standard ASNZ 4602 for Safety Garments and is available in a full size range from SM-4XL.
