Cigweld ProPlus Welding Helmet

Tuesday, 25 March, 2014 | Supplied by: Cigweld Pty Ltd

The Cigweld ProPlus Welding Helmet has a lightweight design, high-performance battery and versatile visual functioning making it suitable for MIG, Stick, TIG, plasma arc welding, air carbon arc cutting, oxy/fuel gas welding, oxygen cutting and grinding.

The auto darkening filter lens has four inbuilt sensors to ensure there is no disruption between welding jobs. Wearers can move between welding, cutting and grinding without distraction - the helmet reaction time is 1/25,000th of a second. The low amperage TIG rating of 2 A and above supports even the most subtle welding applications, so wearers can control the arc while the helmet automatically controls the visibility.

The digital LED display delivers a discreet feed of the settings with a manual option when required by the user. The helmet has a viewing area with good dimensions, a solar-assisted energy-saving battery and an ergonomic four-point harness with cushion support for the head. Optional Cigweld magnification lenses can further extend the vision enhancement of the helmet.

Available in four graphic designs, the ProPlus helmet meets all the stringent requirements in AS/NZS1337.1 and AS/NZS1338.1.
