Ansell Healthcare Solvex nitrile gloves

Thursday, 14 January, 2010 | Supplied by: Ansell

Solvex nitrile gloves have been developed to protect workers in daily contact with various hazardous substances by reducing their risk of exposure to dangerous chemicals and fluids that can penetrate into the blood through the skin and then be conveyed to the nervous system, brain, liver, kidneys or other vital organs.

Chemicals that are allowed skin contact can still lead to irritation, noxiousness and allergic reactions, or can even present a carcinogenic or mutagenic risk.

A high level of comfort is provided by the glove’s cotton-flock liner. Combined with the flexibility of the nitrile film and a reversed lozenge finish, the glove provides grip for safe handling, abrasion resistance and mechanical protection in applications such as chemical processing and preparation, oil and petrol refining, metal fabrication, agricultural chemicals and the printing industry.

An unlined version of the glove has no inner cotton flocking, reducing the risk of lint contamination and making it suitable for production areas sensitive to the introduction of external impurities.
