Steel Blue puts the boot into breast cancer

Friday, 24 August, 2007

Steel Blue will officially launch the "Purple Boot Brigade' in NSW at the Sydney Safety Show to help raise awareness and much needed funds for breast cancer education.

At the company's display stand, where you are able to view all Steel Blue men and women's ranges, Steel Blue staff and sporting legends Dennis (DK) Lillee and Shane Webcke will don purple to help save lives across Australia.

With one in eight Australian women being diagnosed with breast cancer, the importance of providing support services and promoting the "early detection saves lives' message has never been greater.

With this in mind, Steel Blue is donating $30 from the purchase of each pair of Steel Blue purple boots towards breast cancer education and awareness programs.

A range of sizing samples will be available at the stand so you can give Steel Blues your own comfort test.

For full details on the Steel Blue range including the purple boot project, visit the stand or www.steelblue.com.au.
