The 3M Versaflo S-series soft headcovers and hoods for powered and supplied air respirators is a further development of the company’s lightweight, loose-fitting headtops used in the healthcare, pharmaceuticals, paint spraying, food and beverage, and other process industries.

The range meets the requirements of AS/NZS1716 when used with specific air delivery units from 3M.

The range gives good airflow distribution for improved comfort and lower noise for better communication. The range has improved visibility with reduced curvature decreasing reflection and glare and also minimising potential for visor creasing. The sizing and adjustment options comfortably fit many more workers than previous models and the range can be comfortably worn with prescription eyewear or safety glasses.

Users can choose between ready-to-use integrated suspension or the premium re-usable suspension headcovers and hoods that allow quick, cost-effective replacement of outer fabrics.

The integrated headtops feature wide, soft elastic face seals and airflow distribution that minimises air whistling noise, while the premium headtops feature an externally adjustable airflow control that shifts flow from the back of the head to over the temple, face and visor.
