Pro-Visual Publishing in conjunction with the NSCA Foundation has proudly released their latest edition of the Augmented Reality (AR) Club Managers Guide to Workplace Safety 2019/20, distributed free of charge Australia wide.
The wall-mountable printed Guide is to be displayed in clubs for managers and staff to regularly review and use during their safety meetings. Each day workers can face a variety of tasks and potential situations that require the correct hazard prevention and safety knowledge to ensure each day is injury free.
The topics for this year have been carefully selected to address issues pertinent to clubs in regards to health and safety, which include:
- Hazardous substances and cellar safety.
- First aid and infection control.
- Strategies to prevent and deal with armed hold-ups and robberies.
- Manual Handling.
- Positive performance indicators to improve workplace health and safety.
As mentioned, the Guide features AR, a digitised feature aimed at enhancing engagement and offers an aspect of interactivity. By simply downloading the free Pro-Vis AR app and scanning over any AR capable content, workers can access further safety information straight to their smart device, for example, videos and PDF files.
“I would like to thank all the sponsors of the Clubs Managers Guide to Workplace Safety 2019/20. Their support has made it possible for the Guide to be distributed free of charge.”
