iota Easy Lift manhole lids

The cast iron Easy Lift manhole lids are spring hinged to open with ease, using less than 15 kg of equivalent pressure. As a further safety measure, stainless steel safety grates are built in beneath the lid such that when the manhole is first opened, any potential of a fall from heights is removed. The grates allow pumps and other items to be raised or lowered into the manhole and can also open upward for improved access to the manhole shaft if required.

The lids are coated to minimise corrosion due to aggressive sewer environments and are considered to be suitable for use in sewer pump stations and other access locations within water and sewer networks and the mining industry. Manufactured to Australian Standards, these lids come in two sizes (760 mm square and 950 mm round) and are trafficable, allowing them to be used in roadways, paths, pump stations and other plant.
