The Simatic ET 200pro IWLAN interface module wirelessly integrates the distributed I/O system into the automation network.
The 154-6 PN HF interface is designed for harsh industrial environments, with IP65/66/67 protection for use directly on the machine. It is suitable for overhead monorail conveyors, automatic guided vehicles and warehouse logistics.
The module is integrated into the network as an IWLAN client via an IWLAN access point. It supports IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/h and operates in the 2.4 and 5 GHz frequency bands.
It also supports iPCF (industrial point coordination function) for deterministic WLAN communication and rapid roaming, as well as standard and safety-oriented applications via Profinet.
User-friendly basic and security settings are accessible via a web server.
