Technofast Industries EziTite range hydraulic nut system

The Technofast Industries EziTite range has been designed to provide fast and accurate bolt tensioning in many high-temperature applications. The range includes the CamNut systems, which are used on steam turbines and temperature applications from -40°C to 650°C; and the EziTite TR hydraulic nuts, which are designed for high-temperature applications up to 550°C.

The CamNut system is used to tighten the typically massive bolts used in large steam turbines without replacing or modifying the bolts. It features stacked hydraulic load cells to reduce tool diameters and a tapered breakaway coupling with a thread for fast engagement of the tensioning tool. The system is user friendly, fast to fit and remove, and suitable for applications with short bolt grip length. Its modular construction reduces overall tool weight.

The EziTite TR high-temperature hydraulic nut features a durable metal seal that allows the fastener to be cycled many times without failure.

The range is claimed to provide bolt tensioning in less time than other methods, such as heating or torque tightening.
