Jemtech Smash-21 dual-circuit safety contact block

Jemtech has developed a range of safety relay components. Previously only offering contact blocks to complement its Vigilante safety control units, the company has designed the Smash safety relays to work in standalone applications with its safety switches and optical safety sensors.

The first product available is the Smash-21 dual-circuit safety contact block, with a single contact back monitoring circuit, which is compatible with the company’s Shrike laser safety sensors, VSY safety switches and most off-the-shelf light curtain units.

The device offers a pair of 24 VDC operated relays, capable of switching 6 A at 240 VAC or 4 A at 24 VDC. Each coil is indicated with an LED indicator. It mounts on standard DIN rail and uses 43 mm on the rail. It uses Swiss-made safety relays.
