EXAIR Hot Tap Digital Flowmeter

EXAIR’s Hot Tap Digital Flowmeters allow users to identify high compressed air use areas, detect compressed air leaks and optimise air use. They can be safely installed while compressed air piping is under pressure, eliminating the need to isolate and remove pressure from the pipes and reducing installation time.

They have a sound muffler that collects chips from the drilling process to prevent installation debris from entering the air stream while minimising noise exposure and two valves that the measuring probes pass through.

Each meter ships with a drill bit, drill guide and hex wrenches. The Hot Tap feature is available on 51 mm through 203 mm meters. The meters are CE and RoHS compliant and can be ordered for schedule 40, 80 or 10S pipes. Standard units display airflow on an LED screen with optional data logger or wireless data transfer capability. Airflow values are expressed in standard cubic feet per minute or cubic metres per hour.
