Scotch-Brite bristle discs and brushes
Scotch-Brite bristle discs and brushes are surface conditioning products made using proprietary long-lasting Cubitron ceramic abrasive grain. As the disc/brush wears, fresh mineral is always exposed, delivering improved productivity and value.
The moulded, abrasive filled nylon bristles deburr, polish and finish more effectively than wire discs and brushes for a faster, more uniformed finish, maintaining abrasive property throughout the life of the disc or brush.
They contain no wire filaments for improved safety for operators and finishes are easily repeatable, reducing the labour time involved in completing tasks.
These ceramic abrasives are engineered to cut fast, resist loading and handle intense heat and stress applications. Ceramic abrasive grains are claimed to surpass wire and aluminium oxide abrasives in cut-rate and durability, and make a good choice for industrial cleaning and finishing applications.
Their flexible bristles require less pressure than wire brushes, therefore reducing operator fatigue, and conform to contours, even on complex parts removing weld burns, rust, heavy oxides, paint, stains, adhesives and surface contaminants.
There is a bristle product suitable for a range of applications and tooling.
