Tagline system

The Power tagline system is designed to provide easy access to obstructed self retracting lifelines (SRLs) mounted overhead. The unit lowers the SRL line with the push of a button, allowing access to the SRL connecting hook for connection to a harness. Once the work is complete, the line is raised out of the way.

The unit provides the option of mounting SRLs above an overhead crane without obstructing surrounding equipment, allowing workers to safely climb and move about.

With travel speeds of 22.7 m/min, there is less waiting time for the fall protection system to be accessed. Quick and smooth operation ensures minimal impact on productivity. The 30 m line allows for high attachment points.

The unit has a limit switch that automatically turns off the unit once the counter weight contacts the overhead winch unit. This prevents damage and over-winding of the cable in case the operator is unaware of the location of the counter weight.

The rugged remote control is suitable for harsh industrial settings and the unit features standard 240 V electrical connections to simplify installation.

The mounting brackets clamp onto existing structures, including beam flanges and trusses up to 457 mm wide. No drilling or welding is required.

The unit is compatible with all self-retracting lifeline models and accommodates multiple fall protection systems.
