Ladder locking system

Monday, 13 February, 2006 | Supplied by: Laddaloc Pty Ltd

Scaf-Loc is a ladder that attaches to any heavy-duty scaffold and is able to be opened or locked in moments. Either the site supervisor can open the ladder in the morning, or tradesmen can be provided with a key to access the scaffold when required. At the end of the day, or when no work is required on the scaffold, the ladder is locked, preventing unauthorised access. This helps to protect the builder's/developer's duty of care while providing a complete scaffold for tradesmen to use.

Unlike conventional ladders, all parts of a Scaf-Loc ladder can be replaced. Any damaged part can be replaced quickly and easily on site, for a fraction of the cost of a new ladder. Rated to 160 kg, these ladders easily handle robust tradesmen and the rigours of a site.
