High dielectric-strength rope
The Yale Hydee Brait is a high dielectric-strength rope that is constructed from a co-polymer olefin film converted into an 8-strand plaited rope construction that provides a high degree of grip.
The rope is designed for hand lines and block lines where high dielectric strength is valued.
The rope is spliced easily and won’t twist when in use, while the Aralube dielectric treatment helps the rope retain its dielectric characteristics even when it becomes wet. Note that entrained or absorbed moisture will dramatically increase the rope’s conductivity.
