Capital Safety DBI-Sala flotation harness

DBI-Sala’s flotation harness incorporates an integral Baltic Safety personal flotation device (PFD), commonly known as an inflatable life jacket, and is suitable for workers exposed to hazardous marine environments, giving fall protection, buoyancy protection and survival solutions.

In the event of a fall into water, the PFD transforms from a compact folded state to a large buoyant lung within seconds, keeping the user afloat in the water.

It features a secure zip closure that stays closed during the most demanding activity but automatically bursts open on inflation.

It has a built-in lifting bucket, for quick rescue and recovery from the water, and an inflation mechanism that provides automatic or manual inflation.

The harness includes Reflexite reflective patches for high visibility, a whistle, an oral inflation/deflation tube and an inspection history label.

It also features an integral PFD for buoyancy protection in extreme environments; stainless steel hardware for the ultimate in corrosion resistance in harsh environments; large rear fall arrest-rated stainless steel D-ring for safe connections to fall protection system; frontal fall arrest rated loops for work positioning and rescue; reflective piping enhances visibility in low-light conditions; labels conveniently located in a single location and safeguarded by a unique cover protecting vital information - donning instructions, harness data, inspection log, product certification and i-Safe tag; anti rollout design; and it is AS/NZS 1891.1:2007 certified.

Models include harnesses: with 275N PFD for open or closed waters - single chambered with automatic gas inflation; with 275N MED/SOLAS PFD for open waters on vessels - twin chambered, one chamber with automatic gas inflation the other chamber with manual gas inflation as a backup.
