Anti-slip safety stair nosings

The R-MN Safety Treads are tough, anti-slip and chemical-resistant stair nosings for use in harsh, high-traffic commercial areas such as factories, mines and offshore environments.

The stair nosings are available in three standard sizes, but any length or width can be custom made to meet clients’ requirements.

Manufactured from 1.6 mm galvanised metal or stainless steel, the plate is firstly prepared with a primer coat. After drying, three coloured coats of chemical-resistant 2-part polyurethane are applied, along with aluminium oxide granules incorporated to provide both the anti-slip and extreme hardness properties of the finished product. Although safety yellow is the most popular colour, any Australian standard colour can be provided at no additional cost.

Test reports shows that the product exceeds the AS/NZS 4586:2004 and exceeds the recommendations of HB-197 for external stairs.
