WorkSafe Victoria investigates fatal ladder fall

WorkSafe Victoria is investigating an incident in which a 60-year-old electrician fell to his death at a residential construction site in Greenvale on Tuesday, 5 September 2023. It is believed he had been working on the third floor when he fell from a ladder to the ground floor at about 11:10 am.

The death is the 44th confirmed workplace fatality for 2023. There were 49 work-related deaths at the same time last year.
