Silvan Selecta 300 L diesel transfer unit

The heavy-duty Selecta diesel transfer unit provides a complete 300 L capacity diesel delivery and transfer system for easy, safe handling of fuel and meets the requirements of AS/NZS 1692. It is suitable for local councils, statutory authorities and in the resource industry.

The unit comprises a welded, powder-coated steel tank with a 12 VDC powered pump-and-hose delivery system. The steel tank design features locators for the forks of a forklift truck and tie-down points for secure fixing on to the deck of a typical four-wheel drive or one-tonne utility.

The tank has a lockable lid to protect against theft of the fuel contents and is baffled internally to reduce fuel surging and to provide stability on a moving vehicle.

The diesel delivery system is a 5 m length of 19 mm internal diameter hose fitted with an automatic shut-off delivery nozzle and a swivel to avoid the hose twisting or kinking.

The Piusi Bypass 3000 model features a 12 VDC powered pump that can pump up to 45 L a minute in open flow at a maximum pressure of 1.5 bar.

The pump also has an internal bypass so that if it is switched on and the flow is restricted or the nozzle is shut, the pump operates in bypass mode to recirculate diesel within the pump, protecting the motor.

The self-contained unit and delivery system is easily mounted, secured and carried on the back of a typical utility vehicle.
