Donaldson Australasia has released its Modular Baghouse (MB) dust collectors for any environment where dust and fumes pose a potential OHS or environmental hazard. By utilising the latest in design and filtration technologies, the range of Modular Baghouse units is also able to deliver costs savings on energy use and installation.

Designed for widespread applications in the woodworking, building and construction industries and with specific strengths in furniture manufacturing, food processing and grain handling, these compact units are highly efficient and have proven reliability. Using an energy-efficient pulse-jet operated cleaning system, the filtration capacity and efficiency is of the highest standard. The Modular Baghouse units also feature breakthrough filter bag technology using Donaldson's patented Dura-Life ultra-long life, high-performance filter bags.

Dura-Life bags provide longer bag life and reduced emissions which, in turn, provides the ability to extend service periods and assists in eco-friendly environmental management.

Filter bags change-outs are also easy as each collector is equipped with Quick-Release filter bag cages thus providing tool-free installation and removal of bags. The MB's design features include the ability to access on the clean air side of the collector meaning change-outs will be cleaner.

The Modular Baghouse's design also results in optimal airflow and minimal abrasion throughout the unit. Once installed, the unit will require less ongoing maintenance as the number of moving parts has been minimised, thus saving on maintenance costs.
