Ansul Red Line cartridge-operated hand-portable fire extinguishers enable fires to be quickly detected and suppressed. Each unit is tested under actual fire situations, making it suitable for firefighting in high fire-risk industries.

The externally mounted pressure cartridges on each unit ensure easy removal for increased reliability, on-the-spot recharge and ease of service. This is claimed to make it possible to fight a fire, recharge and return to the fire in minutes.

The rugged units are claimed to be durable, featuring sturdy carbon-steel shells that resist impact, vibration and corrosion, while polyester powder paints provide protection against corrosion, cracking and chipping.

The units are also fully customisable, with options ranging from high-flow to ring-pin models, as well as agents available for every class of fire.

Four models are available: Model 5 features a slim design for use on vehicles and machinery with limited space constraints including small trucks, lift trucks, mining vehicles and production line machinery.

Model 10 for high fire-frequency areas where light or ordinary fire hazards exist is suitable for remote locations where smaller fires occur and on-the-spot recharging is necessary. Typical applications include: trucks, production line machinery and mining equipment.

Model 20 for use against larger fires in high-risk areas is suitable for applications including dip tanks, storage drum, oil pumping station and large industrial.

Model 30 is suitable for large, intense fires where maximum fire-suppression power is needed, including warehouses, fuel loading racks, fuel storage locations and heavy construction sites.
