The Dräger DrugTest 5000 system is a fast, accurate and reliable means of detecting drugs of abuse in oral fluid for six substance classes.
The portable, hygienic system is easy to use and unambiguous in its result. The system analyses oral fluid samples for drugs of abuse, such as amphetamines, designer amphetamines, opiates, cocaine and metabolites, benzodiazepines and cannabinoids.
The system comprises two main components: the oral fluid test kits and the analyser.
The oral fluid test kits are simple and easy to administer. The non-invasive testing is 100% observable (no adulteration, no cheating), eliminating the need for special facilities or gender-specific staffing as with urine drug testing. It is also hygienic to use as it inhibits any contact with the sample and its components.
The analyser is a mobile measurement device that provides qualitative detection of drugs in the oral fluids collected by the oral fluid test kits. The analyser provides a reliable and precise result of the test kit sample within just a few minutes using an optoelectronic system.
