As a registered training organisation, Wormald offers a two-day confined space entry training course that equips authorised employees with the knowledge and skills to safely enter and operate in confined spaces, avoiding exposure to hazardous substances, flammable or explosive conditions and addressing other safety or health issues.

The training assists employers and managers to meet their duty-of-care obligations for their employees and provides participants with the skills and confidence to make the right decisions and act quickly in the event of a workplace emergency.

In NSW and ACT, Wormald also offers a mobile training facility for confined space safety and rescue training. The fully equipped trailer allows trainees to experience the realities of accessing and working in enclosed spaces, and even participate in mock emergency scenarios and rescues. A refresher training session is also available to help participants comply with the requirement to update their knowledge every two years.
