Hydramet courses for chlorine safety awareness (3 h) and chlorine operator training (8 h) can be tailored to suit a user’s training requirements and can be held on the user’s premises.
The chlorine safety awareness course is designed to develop a basic awareness and understanding of chlorine uses, properties and reactions as well as the health effects and treatment if exposed to chlorine and emergency response.
The chlorine operator training course covers the safety awareness syllabus as well as the storage and handling of chlorine, including connecting and disconnecting chlorine drums, preparing chlorine equipment for maintenance and Australian Standards requirements.
