Share your innovation: National Safety Awards now open
The National Safety Awards program put on by the NSCA Foundation is an opportunity for you to celebrate your safety heroes and showcase your workplace safety initiatives — no matter how big or small.
Now in their 24th year, the National Safety Awards of Excellence continues to celebrate organisations and people who contribute to the health, safety and wellbeing of their employees and show continuous improvement in their business performance.
The awards are open to any Australian operating business, organisation, and alliance or individual in the public or private sector with a workplace health and safety initiative that falls into one of the following eight categories:
- Best Continuous Improvement of a WHS Management System
- Best Solution of a WHS Risk
- Best WHS Training Program
- Best Communication of a Safety Message
- Ian Chisholm Award for Best Individual WHS Achievement
- Best Safety Leadership Program/Initiative
- Best Health and Wellbeing Program
- NSCA Foundation Member of Year
Entries close on 30 June 2016. Winners will be announced on the 13 October 2016 at an awards gala lunch in Sydney.
