Leading industrial and safety supplies company Blackwoods has joined the growing list of sponsors and exhibitors at the inaugural SAFETYconnect conference and expo. The event will take place from 16–17 August at Rosehill Gardens and has attracted high pre-registration numbers for the world-class, dual-stream conference program being presented by NSCA Foundation.

Blackwoods has joined the event as Networking Drinks Sponsor, while GIO is Naming Partner. A broad range of health, safety and wellbeing equipment and technology brands will be represented on the exhibition floor, including uvex safety, Paramount Safety Group, Safety Mate, ENGENEOHS Alliance, Move 4 Life, WellBeing GROW, AssistEM, Signet, Verge Safety Barriers, Uneedit Supplies, Roobuck, Non-Slip Floor Solutions, Avatar Technology, SignViz, Pratt Safety Systems, Thorzt, ProChoice Safety Gear, Pro-Visual Publishing, SCRIM Safety First, Ergopack, Linq Height Safety, Vitality Works and more.

National Safety magazine and www.SafetySolutions.net.au are joint media partners for the event.

The conference program features local and international WHS experts, including Dr Karen McDonnell, the immediate past president of international industry body IOSH, and Stephen Woolger, manager of health and safety for the 2018 Commonwealth Games. A mock trial run by Sparke Helmore Lawyers will be a highlight of the event, as will the Regulator Panel, featuring representatives from Tasmania, South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales.

Over 400 of Australia’s leading workplace health and safety professionals will be attending SAFETYconnect 2017 — a limited number of conference tickets are still available.
