Safety in Action coming to Perth

Industry professionals from Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) across diverse industries are invited to attend the Safety in Action exhibition at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre from 1–2 June 2016.

Workers interested in safety from manufacturing, engineering, transport, mining, government and the corporate sectors will benefit from the two-day event, which will feature a comprehensive seminar program and 100 exhibitors under one roof, all focused on how to make employee safety a key priority.

“The Safety in Action exhibition will shine the spotlight on employee health and safety and educate organisations on a range of ways to create a healthier and safer workplace — from introducing mental health programs to investing in the latest safety developments and equipment,” said Keith Barks, general manager at Informa Australia, organiser of the event.

Mental health and workplace wellness will be a key focus of the Seminar Series, following the high demand for this content at last year’s national event in Melbourne.

Presented by industry experts, the Seminar Series will be a pivotal part of the exhibition with full details to be released soon.

The event is free to attend and open to anyone involved in workplace safety. Sydney will host the national Safety in Action exhibition from 6–8 September 2016.
