Registrations open for 2024 AOG Energy conference
The AOG Energy exhibition and conference will return in 2024 to bring the energy sector together for three days of collaboration, giving attendees the opportunity to discuss the challenges and opportunities presented by the transition towards a decarbonised future. AOG Energy’s conference program will feature discussions about wind power, renewable energy sources — including carbon capture and storage (CCS) — and strategic keynotes providing insights into how the industry is progressing environmental resilience and sustainable outcomes.
In 2024, AOG Energy will focus on connecting people, with over 200 exhibitors in attendance including 30% from overseas. The showcase will span smart tech, innovation, engineering solutions and more across the entire energy supply chain. The conference also presents an opportunity to network and connect with both global and local markets.
The Diversity & Inclusion Breakfast will address the topic of ‘What’s my age again? Cultivating a future without bias’. The concepts of generational diversity, intergenerational collaboration, lifelong learning, career transition, mentorship and ageism will all be addressed. The event will also see the return of the Subsea Welcome Drinks reception and a series of networking events.
Roger Cook, Premier of Western Australia, said the state is uniquely placed to support the global clean energy transition. “Our natural gas reserves will play a critical role in the energy transition towards a low-carbon economy and decarbonised world. WA has an abundance of all the minerals needed to create lithium-ion and vanadium flow batteries, and we are blessed with consistent and low-cost renewable energy through wind and solar, which will allow us to produce green hydrogen at scale,” Cook said.
Federal and WA government representatives will be attending the event, as well as keynote speakers from AOG Energy sponsors including the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation, Woodside and Chevron. The event will take place at the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre from 13–15 March 2024.
