Nominations open for 2021 Comcare National WHS Awards

Nominations are open for the 2021 Comcare National Work Health and Safety Awards, to recognise and reward excellence in workplace health and safety. The awards will also recognise recovery and return to work achieved by employers and individuals operating across Comcare’s scheme. Comcare is seeking entries that highlight success in ‘Creating a safer workplace together’ in one of four categories: the Prevention Award, the Early Intervention Award, the Recovery at and Return to Work Award, and the Individual Contribution Award.

The nominations will close on 22 November 2020, with the shortlist of nominees released in December 2020. Interviews with shortlisted candidates will be carried out in February 2021, with the finalists announced on 14 April 2021. The awards will be presented during a dinner event on 18 May 2021 as part of the 2021 Comcare National Conference and Awards, to be held at the National Convention Centre, Canberra.
