New Comcare publication

Monday, 03 August, 2009

Comcare has released a new publication entitled Building a case to invest in OHS and organisational health’ that outlines the benefits of investing in organisational health initiatives.

The publication outlines the elements of organisational health, the benefits employers can expect to receive from investing in organisational health initiatives and how to write a business case to obtain funding for investment.

Not only do organisational health strategies manage the risks of injury and disease, they also reduce costs, increase productivity, raise staff morale and enhance performance.

Comcare encourages organisations to familiarise themselves with organisational health models. Gaining support from leadership and communicating openly with employees will lead to safer workplaces — an achievable and essential goal for all organisations.

The publication can be downloaded from the Comcare website.
