Man dies after fall from crane

A man has died after a fall from a crane at a construction site in Melbourne’s CBD.

The incident happened on the corner of Lonsdale and Elizabeth streets. The man, 59, fell about 35 m from a crane platform on the site.

WorkSafe Vic investigators are currently on-site and undertaking a full investigation.
